Introducing myself

I was born in 1913, studied law, and trained as a chamber musician. The upsets of the Second World War caused me to forsake the country of my birth, and via a circuitous route which included service with the British forces, I became a British citizen in the 1950s.

Having had an active life, (business, social, musical, and travel), and having lived in several countries, I feel I can offer an unusual perspective on some of life's vicissitudes.

I got my first PC when I was 86, by the way.

The scope of my interests is broad (not least longevity) but the principal love of my life is music. I will post my thoughts here from time to time, and I hope you will find them of interest.
